At Stackwares, we believe that software should respect your attention and your privacy. Project Pro was engineered with a strict privacy-first principle: your projects, tasks, milestones, and personal data belong exclusively to you.
1. Local-First Architecture
When you use Project Pro on macOS, your project data is stored locally on your device within the sandboxed application container. We do not operate remote tracking databases that sync or scrape your task content. Your work does not cross our servers.
2. No Telemetry or Behavioral Tracking
Project Pro contains:
- No third-party analytics SDKs (no Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Amplitude).
- No advertising tracking beacons.
- No keystroke or screen recording telemetry.
- No data harvesting for machine learning training.
3. macOS Sandboxing and Permissions
Project Pro complies with Apple’s strict macOS App Sandbox guidelines. The application only accesses network resources if you explicitly configure an external integration, and only accesses files that you choose to import or export through standard system file dialogs.
4. Web Demo & Browser Storage
If you use the interactive web workspace hosted at this site, your data is stored locally in your browser’s localStorage. It is never
uploaded to an external server unless you manually export a backup file.
5. Support Inquiries and Communications
If you email us at dev@stackwares.com for customer support or feedback, we will only use your email address and message content to answer your inquiry and help resolve your issue. We never sell, rent, or share customer contact details with third parties.
6. Changes to this Policy
If our privacy practices change, updates will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Because we do not collect your personal contact information within the app, we encourage you to review this page periodically.
